Discover cozy cottages in Blönduós, North Iceland. Since tomatoes are about 90% water, the quality of the water the plant receives is essential. Enjoy a unique food experience in our restaurant, where the tomatoes grow all around! Our staff is ready to help you and make your stay comfortable and pleasant. We also breed horses, and put on a horse show – in fourteen languages. We welcome visitors to see our greenhouses, and then enjoy a taste of the crop. Their five children, Dóróthea, Karítas, Matthías Jens, Arnaldur and Tómas Ingi, all play an active part in the family business.

Friðheimar is very much a family affair, run by Knútur Rafn Ármann and his wife Helena Hermundardóttir.
